Okay, so it’s not my exclusive idea. 😉 BUT, this is an essential part of getting the most out of anchor charts and making sure students actually want to reference them later. 💡 Making a beautiful anchor chart does very little to anchor student learning if they aren’t a part of the creation. 📝 That doesn’t mean you can’t plan your charts ahead of time — I almost always do! I create the template or plan as a guide for my lesson, but all of the important content is added with students present in
